The beautiful thing about Pau’s championship advice is that mentality was the one step he had to take for those Lakers to become champs. After the 08 finals, everyone was calling Pau soft because he got dominated, both mentally and physically by Kevin Garnett. KG is obviously one of the toughest players of all time, and probably the best at getting in other players heads. So Pau realized that he needed to change his mentality, not be scared by the moment, and gaining that mentality from Kobe along with his natural humbleness granted the Lakers back to back chips, including a rematch of Kevin and the Celtics.

Intimidación y agilidad a partes iguales.

Pau is undoubtedly one of the best Europeans in the history of basketball. In my opinion he is the best. In the United States he is underrated. 2 Olympic silver and one bronze, 2006 World Champion, 3 times European champion, World Cup MVP, Rookie of the year, 2 times NBA champion, 6 times all star, all-time top scorer and stopper of the Memphis Grizzlies ...

You know damn well he didn’t “run into Kobe” I bet Kobe knew exactly when and where Gasol was going to be and was there to recruit. “Maybe we’ll be teammates someday” ain’t something Kobe would say to any player in the league unless he was there specifically for that.
