If you want your zipper to be near the top edge instead of ending up in the middle of the bag, how would you so that?

PhotogHer instead of positioning the zipper in the center before you Serge the edges closed, fold and position the zipper towards the top. I like to do bags with the zipper about an inch and a half from upper edge.

You can start with a rectangle and place your zipper in on both ends the just fold and position the zipper where you would like.
