Again I MUST thank you so much for showing me the Real Russia with no "Bull S**T" Oh and I love the way you say "BullS**t" by the way. First congratulations on your fine new car. beats the hell out of what I think was a Lotta you had before. I love your new place. One thing I noticed about Russia is there WALL PAPER is everywhere. Wall paper is not as universally used in the USA as it seems to be in the Real Russia. And WOW the wall paper in your kitchen is awesome to the max dude. Very Nice. Your new home is awesome. I didnot know housing in Russia was that expensive and your building is pretty and massive. I have always loved that Russia builds truly massive single building housing blocks. Also I enjoyed your drive down the freeway of Ufa. The breif glimpse of the wild looking green building was a treat too. The most beautiful things in Russia are the Moscow subway stations, I found them beyond beautiful beyond words even. Most of all I am so happy you survived your surgery. I am happy life is improving for you and your family. PLEASE continue doing these "Real Russia No BullS**t" features because; you are educating so many of us who are interested in learning the truth about your country. Oh also loved that double decker train to the Socchi Olympics too. Love your accent I know you say "What accent!" God bless you sir and thank you. I wish you and your family nothing but continued health and prosperity.

***** This car is called Chevrolet optra in India. Well actually, here, it has a very bad reputation. Loses to Hyundai verna and Maruti Ciaz in sales very badly. infact, chevrolet itself has worst reputaion among car companies here. Partly because of Tavera massive recall incident and some other customer treatment issues. By the way, this car is discontinued now in india because of very poor sales but here it cost between 7,50,000 roubles (12k USD) to 10,00,000 Roubles (16K USD) according to engine type and features. The only car that is considered good by chevrolet is Cruze. We lovingly call it 'the diesel rocket' ;)

Ok,this may be a stupid question. I don't see a living room. I did not see one in your last apartment either. Do you not have them. Everything so far seems very much like America. Of course so far I have only seen a few videos. I do like them very much though. It's fascinating to see how other countries live.

In smaller apartments, the living room is often combined with one of the bedrooms, sometimes using an sofa that unfolds to a bed.

+Ильяс Саитов there is a lot of stuff missing relative to American standards. We are like in the future compared to Russia and even Europe in general. Even for a condo. Sergeys X2 showed how much they paid for gas in Eposide 3 as they went to a Summer House in the country. "Real Russia" Ep.3: Russian Summer House. Gas price was 27 Rubles a liter for the cheapest octane, or USD 3.06 a gallon. That particular gas station had only a soda machine out front, but I stopped by some gas stations in Moscow and they had mini marts just like the US.

wait.. You got a Chevy from Korea? That's worse than our assembled in Canada, and manufactured in Mexico. I miss real American vehicles.
@gnawershreth10 жыл бұрын
It's not actually a Chevrolet. It's a Daewoo, which is a Korean car company. GM bought them to try and get a share in cheaper car markets outside the USA. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daewoo_Lacetti And wth are you on about? Korea (Meaning South Korea obviously.) makes a lot of quality products. They're at least as modern as most western countries. lol
@gnawershreth10 жыл бұрын
***** That what I said I think? I didn't claim the company was cheap but that they make cheaper cars for markets that GM wanted in on. Daewoo was always one of the cheaper brands available outside USA, so it was an easy way to get the Chevrolet brand out there. Before the purchase of Daewoo I've never known a Chevrolet owner in my life. Chevrolet were just the cars in movies.. :P
@realrussiablog10 жыл бұрын
Gnawer Shreth The newest cars like mine in Russia now released under the name of Daewoo Gentra. But as it's stated from wiki article in different countries it goes under different brands. Buick Excelle (China) Chevrolet Lacetti (Europe) Chevrolet Optra (Asia, South America, Canada, Mexico, South Africa) Chevrolet Estate (Indonesia) Chevrolet Nubira (Europe) Daewoo Lacetti (South Korea) Daewoo Nubira (Europe) Daewoo Gentra (Uzbekistan) Holden Viva (Australia) Suzuki Reno (United States) Suzuki Forenza (United States)

***** Denmark. There's no difference here. "En billig bil" = "A cheap car" or "An inexpensive car" What on earth is the difference in USA? Cheap means inexpensive according to online definitions as well. "1. a. Relatively low in cost; inexpensive or comparatively inexpensive. b. Charging low prices: a cheap restaurant." www.thefreedictionary.com/cheap

+Real Russia it is a recent thing that all of the manufacturing jobs are leaving America. Tragedy really. It used to be any one could make a decent living in a brainless factory job, but all those jobs are gone to Korea, Japan, and mainly china (except cars). no bullshit...

I love the color of your new car! (If you ever have trouble with the engine idling, check the engine breather pipes for cracks or connections... common problem.) Your new apartment is beautiful! ...but having to wait for hot water will be hard. Sergey, it is your enthusiasm that makes this channel so great. Although I liked the videos while you were in the hospital, watching your reactions to things make it so much better! I wish you, your family and Sergey Pichugin all the best my friend.

Not only the nice car and new flat, but both Sergey(s) are so nice. Btw, I like the expression of Sergey Pichugin every time he is noding for saying "YES" without saying any word, for example in this video when Sergey Baklykof said "Sergey Pichugin this early morning want ta get a coffee"...then Sergey Pichugin just nods with a special expression of face as usual, so by this way he looks like a patient person. And Sergey Baklykof always looks like a faithful friend.

Sergey, I only mention my surprise because that is a certain percentage of a persons income. I wonder how much a working man earns in Russia? The exchange rate at the border crossing when I visited Russia in my vehicle in 1971 was one Russian Ruble equaled $1.12. I've noticed that the estate prices in Ufa are likely to be the same here where I live, suburbs of Milan, city of Varese. For a 60mq flat we pay around 130.000€ but it's a one bedroom appartement. Rooms are bigger that's why there's one less bedroom. Kitched and diningroom are usually together in one big space, bathroom and toilet never separated and big bedroom. Oh and by compassion my condo apartment in USA Maryland costs about $160K in a very nice neighborhood in a much smaller older building still nice very well kept but still older. I have 1,100 square feet BUT only one bedroom and one batheroom. I have a sperate laundry room. Shower and toilet are in same bathroom. That seems to be another purely Russian thing Toilet seperate room from shower, tub and sink I like that actually. My building has toilet in different room than sink in master bedroom but my unit has been very heavily modified. Your place is much smaller than mine and costs the same which says the property values in Ufa Russia beat those in Maryland one of the most expensive places to live in the USA. You live in the capital city so the prices are always a lot more expensive.

Another interesting vid. I'll check out your others when I have more time. I noticed that most people seem to live in apartment-styled housing in Russia. Is this accurate? Are there single-dwelling homes around? Are single family homes popular? Here in America, we have high-rise apartment and condominiums as well, but a great deal of Americans also live in houses. We would call what you own a "condominium" rather than an apartment. Condominiums in America are generally larger than apartments, and can be owned by individuals. Apartments are pretty much owned by a company or person, and rented out to others. Apartments are rarely owned, and I cannot think of anyone who actually owns his own apartment. I've lived in many apartments over my life, but have grown so accustomed now to my small house here in Cincinnati. I love having the traditional front yard, back yard, plus single car garage, which we use for our home business. Our house really is far too small for us (my roommate and I). I maintain two storage units in a small town nearby because I've accumulated so much stuff over the years. If I had to keep all that junk at home there'd be no room left for ME! Awesome car, too! My very first car that I ever bought myself was a Chevrolet. I bought it brand new in January 1990 from money I earned while working at McDonald's (which I mentioned in the comments section of your McDonald's video). I no longer have that car (someone ran in to it while it was parked outside my home), but I managed to find a near duplicate in extremely good shape. Check it out here: 1989 Cavalier Z24 Restoration Project- The Sharpest '89 Z24 Still Running! Keep in mind that the car in the video is 25 years old, yet looks stunning for its age (except for the roof, which I need to get replaced). Again, love your vids. Out of curiosity, what sort of work do you do? I noticed you have ads popping up on your videos, so I am guessing you are drawing some sort of income from Google Adsense (as I am, as well!) Nothing beats a free income stream from something as simple as putting videos on KZbin!
