Great video Sergey. I have a question if you don't mind, how did you managed the depth of field at such wide aperture for a group photo. whenever i try this one or the other person goes out of focus. Thanks
@jonoy4375 Жыл бұрын
The secrets could be multi faces are getting closer and parallel to camera. However, on F1.2, I just worry individual faces are not in perfect focus if look at zoom in.

Your results are stunning! The gradual fall off on your close ups is what I’m after but when I get that close with my 50mm and 135mm, they distort the face. When I back off, the 135 gains that cut-out look, but at the expense of a gradual fall off. When I back off with my 50, the bokeh is diminished. I want an 85 f/1.2 now.

Great photos and great to see everyone keep motivated till the end ...... the younger kids are, the faster they usually like to do something else 🤨🤨

Nice! What were you instructing the girls to do at 11:00?
@SergeyBidun2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I told the younger girls to look on the girl that's sitting, and they just started laughing so hard. Turned out really awesome shots!

How did you get everyone in focus at 3:32? They are not lined up, there are two layers of people, front and back.

So enjoyable to watch! I will be taking photos this weekend with a mom, dad and three children. Won’t be shooting at 1.2….still get messed up where to focus. You have it nailed!

Shooting at 1.2 and have everyone in focus, that's amazing, but what is your focus point when they're not placed in a straight line.?

Great job Sergey. Are they your family? I don't think the youngest girl was feeling it that day. I asked you in the last video but do you use any photoshop actions for your warmth or do you just warm them up in Camera RAW?
@SergeyBidun2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, yes it's my cousin and his family :) I only use Dodge and burn and frequency separation actions, and the rest of editing I do manually. You can see my whole workflow in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZrTe6xsYpaMkNE

RF 85 mm f/1.2L is too expensive. I can't afford to buy. Did you try EF 85 f/1.2L with EOS R camera? I am thinking to buy a used one for my R6.
@SergeyBidun2 жыл бұрын
No I haven't tried shooting with EF 85 1.2L with the R5 camera. But between EF 85 and RF 85, I really like RF 85 lens.

I do my best during photoshoots to minimize any retouching during post-processing by choosing the correct spots locations, educating on outfits my clients, and other details. Some images take only 1min some take 30 min, so it depends on each image. Here is my work flow Video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZrTe6xsYpaMkNE
