Nah u can do that on a fairly cheap gaming pc, I can get more than a thousand units on screen using my intel xeon e3 1230 v2 which is a 13 year old quad core cpu at this point, I built the entire pc for 175 euros more or less and it can do this

This should be a game mode called Demon King. 4 v 1 the demon king has to defend for 30 minutes he has unlimited resources and 9999 Pop limit and insta build and he has to defend against the 4 heroes that are trying to kill him

I know right. The video is titled "Mountain Pass defense", and he even built a wall at said mountain pass. With an army 10 times smaller, he could have put it on and behind the wall, and be able to destroy a far larger invading source. Instead he just marched his much larger army through or around the wall, got a bunch of them killed, and still ended up letting a bunch of enemies through the wall which he had to hunt down and destroy later. This is why playing with trainers is no fun. Takes all skill and planning out of the game.

Aoe 2 is the best. I haven't played 4 though. But it just looks like a cartoon and lacks that medieval realism feel. Should just take aoe2 and make it bigger army like 1000 or more etc
