I enjoyed the bushwhacking free-style type video. Yep. I'd watch more. :)

It’s about time Adam! Hey I really enjoy the style of vlogging your way through the bushwhack. You got to concentrate on what you enjoy doing the most. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to do a bushwhack hike with you one of these days.

Nice to see you posting again. Did the moonshine still a good 15 years ago. Looks like they re-did the fence. When we did it there were openings in it.

Nice! I love the off-trail stuff of course and this style of video suits me much better than having to watch a ton of B-roll with some dude walking back in forth in front of the camera endlessly. Of course I've been somewhat guilty of that too. LOL

I don't mind this type of video at all, it is the sort of thing I do when I head down that way. Partially to avoid the masses of people and to explore off trail areas. What always amazed me about the still on SCC is how they got the all those materials to that overhang. Steel drums and copper are not lightweight! I heard stories years ago of stills or remnants way up Gladie Creek, also deep up Clifty Creek. Wouldn't surprise me if that was true, both areas even more remote than SCC was.

Very cool! I actually like this style video from you...your voice and things you say make an interesting video. It does not work for everyone. I've been wanting to get back to that area and seek out some of the more obscure arches. Especially interested in ones with water. That still site is really interesting.

Curious as to where you got your info to find rockhouse arch?

@@Serialphotog I hope your not thinking silver ? Did you see the Indian Trail Pointer Tree on the way in to Turtle Back Arch? It is up on top about 30ft from the existing trail on the flat. The trunk bends at a 90 degree angle about 6ft from the ground then bends again to vertical. One of the last 'signs' left by the Indians in that area.

@@Serialphotog Be careful what you wish for, as much effort it took you to find that arch imagine looking for a 2x3ft opening. FYI TImmin's arch is named after a woman who 'reopened' a shaft back in the late 1800's not far from mouth of Dog Fork. Just remember there is ALWAYS some truth behind every legend.

Have you ever found Timmons arch. I tried three times with no luck.
