I speak a Tibeto-Burmese(Kuki to be precise) language and my name contains the 'lh' sound. This is the first time I've heard someone from outside my community pronounce it correctly.

Also just wanted to mention, from this one video of yours alone, I've learned way more about language in general than just about the Tibetan lanuage. Great teacher!

8:48 is it a short "pure" e as in sanskrit or "ay" like the dipthong in English?

Geshe, I Was wondering if you had a grammar book, dictionary or other lesson practice guides, because I find the way you teach Tibetan is very good and easy to learn. The column way is very effective. My cousin has been learning Tibetan for years and I was able to learn a whole lot in your first two videos. (Tibetan Alphabet part 1 & 2).

This is old, but is the "lh" stack always pronounced "hl"? Or is it on a word-to-word basis? Sometimes tibetan seems downright crazy, even for an English speaker like me haha.

Transcrição Vs Pronuncia : 2:32- Transcrição é a ORTOGRAFIA de uma palavra estrangeira; precisa ser PRECISA, ela precisa refletir cada elemento ORTOGRÁFICO. 2:51- Pronuncia é o som mais próximo que um estrangeiro pode fazer quando escutra a palavra , no caso Tibetana, e não precisa ser perfeito pois na nossa língua não existe alguns sons.

Beautiful. The people made the language so special n secret but we shouldn't forget the ancient sanskrit from where it's burrowed.
