I passed the Series 7 on my first try this week after a couple weeks of intense study - focusing on your videos, short Kaplan videos, and lots of practice questions. My draw included a TON of confusing regulation/complaint/ registration timeline questions I was shaky on, so I know that acing the options questions saved me. I am taking my exam next Monday and know there are some of those sections that I do not feel great about but similarly to you, I feel great about the options section. hey dean, on the last practice problem for the debit call spread. You state we add the net premium (9) with the lower strike price (380) but then presume to add the gain of 11 to 380 instead of the loss/net debit of 9 to the 380, was this a typo or did i mix something up?

Hi Dean! I'm a little confused on the last question in the video. For the breakeven it would be CAL so we're adding the lower strike price to the net premium. Wouldn't the net premium be 9 (17-8)? I'm not sure if I'm seeing it wrong?

Hi! Just want to make sure I am not missing something....For the last practice question, isn't the breakeven 389? CAL is add the net premium which in this case would be a net debit of 9 to the lower strike price (380). Here you added the MG of 11 to the lower strike price to get 391 as the breakeven. Net premium is just our overall debit or credit when using the T chart, right?

The difference in the premiums. Put spreads into the channel search bar and more content will appear. You can also enter widen or narrow in the search bar.
