Ken, I don't ever post comments on videos I'm one of those silent viewers but I must say I really appreciate your sense of humor and swearing in these videos. It makes learning feel more human and makes it a lot more bearable and easier to follow. The way you explain these topics just seems like we're having a beer and a conversation. I passed my SIE and now I'm moving onto the series 7 and I gotta say your humor and shit talking has been the main reason why I'm able to remember all these topics. Kudos to you man gods work

So for the accrued interest, since everything settles in T+1 now, we count the corporate/munis from the day the bond was purchased? (Similar to the treasury’s but counting in 30 days) right? 14:52

The whole taxation prior to redemption on zero coupon bonds seems insane. Why would anyone buy a zero coupon bond if you have to make tax payments every year until you get your principal at maturity?

That’s why you put in a tax deferred account or if it’s a muni it won’t be taxed But I agree other than that kind of a tough call

Hasn’t changed yet so everything except treasuries and options is T+2 still

A covered option is when you have stock that can cover your option if you’re selling the option and it gets exercised. However a married option idk either not really needed on the S7 from what I’ve seen

Covered or uncovered means selling an option (either with (covered ) or without (uncovered ) a stock position Married put means you bought stock and BOUGHT and put on the same day
