Hey Dean, I have my exam on 12/2. Do you recommend reading the book once more, watching a specific playlist of yours, hammer out practice exams? I need to pass first try. Thank you sir!

Thanks for providing this video, Dean. I've been reading the chapters and listening to the lectures in my online study plan and then coming over here to supplement my learning. I will be taking the series 7 this week, then I'll be on to the 66. Is there any overlap between the two? I was really surprised when I learned that there was so much overlap between the SIE and Series 7.

Lots of overlap on the investment part.

On minute 39:46 the 75-5-10 rule applies now and it’s 10% of the voting stock that cannot be owned right ?

Taking the 6, if that makes any difference

Hey Dean. Quick question. A guy named “Meet Kevin” operates a mutual fund called PP. He claims that he doesn’t have to pay taxes on capital gains because he can simply exchange stocks selected rather than sell and buy. He came from real estate where u can exchange one property for another without creating tax implication. And now he claims to be able to do the same while managing mutual fund. Can u exchange stocks as a mutual funds manager to capitalize on swing opportunities without creating tax implication as he claims?
