There is a difference in high end name brand clothes and high end quality & fabric clothes. Those 2 Kate Spade purses were both cheap made ….paying more for the name than the quality. Not many wonderful soft Italian leather purses, the good leather, silk clothing or cashmere or alpaca sweaters are found out there. Cheap, name brands are made to make the average person feel important but if you know quality…the high end good stuff feels so nice no matter if you wear it, sleep under it …(like Italian sheets/duvets, down comforters, & pillows)or smell it….like real designer Italian leather purses… or the amazing feel of hand made shoes on your feet. It’s truly pure heaven!!!

I think many people who go to thrift stores (accept for resellers), are looking to buy things, especially clothes that are at affordable low prices (including myself.) I am on a super limited income and rarely can afford to shop st regular stores. I know senior citizens who only survive on social security and go to thrift stores to be able to buy things - but now even thrift stores prices are getting ridiculous. One employee I talked to at a thrift store a few months ago (not in Florida where you were ) said they are raising prices because of a deluge of all these well -off resellers buying at thrift stores nowadays. Drive up in nice cars, etc. So for those of us, NOT RESELLERS, are having a difficult time to be able to find things at thrift stores for ourselves. I don't even own a car, I take buses to thrift stores. who I talked to at a

Love your designer scores. One time a thrift store cashier said to me as i was leaving, if you dont like it dont come back. I turned ony heel and said ive been shopping here for yrs and I'll be shopping here when you are long gone. . Hopefully she'll be long gone the next time you frequent that store. If an employee came at me in a threatening way I'd report it to corporate. Thats uncalled for. Crazy lady! Stay strong. But its an encounter you dont forget. Unnecessary. 😮

Yes, definitely film it. Even when they think you turned your camera off but in reality you kept it recording for your own protection.

Mom contact Corporate and send a copy to Corporate has to know about incidents like this. I had an incident with a supervisor more than once with same supervisor and Corporate resolved that issue and sent me at least two gift cards. So please reach out to Corporate. In my area we have 1 goodwill boutique. I did go to my first goodwill boutique in Orlando, Fl. Thx

I think it’s wrong for Goodwill to raise prices. Goodwill is for underprivileged so now where can these folks shop

Sorry but I would have asked whoever served me to get the manager. I would have explained what I was doing and complained vehemently about the lady with the duster. That was just rude

Just wanted to comment to say the first girl at Goodwill was very helpful and pleasant. So many negative comments on the second debacle, just wanted to be sure that the other girl gets complimented , sometimes we forget to reward the good, we get so caught up in the bad.
