1. What your parents taught you is literally just their opinion, and by adulthood you have the freedom to let that shit go and live and breathe how you want to! 2. For the massive imposter syndrome I feel: you have to trust. Trust in yourself; trust in others; trust in your skills etc etc. The hard part-- The trust has to be more important than the discomfort you feel!
