Mark Henry’s poems is one of the greatest tributes to Owen ever, it’s so personal, heartfelt and real! That man is a true man in every sense of the word, not afraid to show emotions, not afraid of what people think.. he’s just a damn good person that cares about the people in his life and have us his all throughout his career.. I wish i appreciated Henry in his prime because he was genuinely always so slam entertaining and the hall of pain era was incredibly underrated, he could do it all, comedy, being an absolute monster heel, being a great baby face.. was very good at tag team matches, one of the safest workers in the history of the business.. he’s just a great person

There's a sense when you look into it that Benoit was in a really bad state throughout. Of course, it doesn't justify his actions, but it makes you think about how there were so many ways that something, anything could have been done to get him the help he needed. Again, this could have been something to where nobody had any idea what was going on, but the details add up and tell an incredibly dark story, namely that his wife and son had bibles beside them and the only thing that Benoit looked up on his computer during that time period was related to the Prophet Elijah's resurrection of a dead child. It's very obvious that he felt remorse over what he had done but only realized all too late that he couldn't take it back. I do not condone Benoit's actions, but I do pity him.

I'm going to be brutally honest here, and it's something that I've seen many people comment on similar videos. The 1999 Over the Edge PPV should've ended after Owen's death. The decision to continue the PPV was just ridiculous. I understand the reasoning why Vince decided to continue, to end the PPV and to leave the fans with clear winners (the main event), but Vince should've said, "Guys, cancel the PPV and have the remaining matches be decided on Raw or the next PPV" (which would've been King of the Ring).
@tb45442 ай бұрын
There's a very strong tradition in theater and live entertainment in general of the show continuing if at all possible. Stopping the show might have been worse for everyone, including the fans at home, in the arena, and the wrestlers themselves. There's a comfort in routine and a sense of normalcy. Stopping it immediately without warning or explanation might have frightened and confused people even more. It might have even caused panic. I think they did the right thing by continuing it and then putting together the great memorial program the next night for him. I remember watching RAW the next night and feeling so many mixed emotions. It was like I lost an uncle.

Benoit is the most tragic to me, according to investigations at the time there were multiple factors involved in his decision, including dependence on prescription drugs, mental issues, some of which were onset by multiple hits to the head, and the state of the industry at the time. For a long time WWE didn't care about the people who put their bodies on the line to make them money, and some are willing to argue that they still don't. Considering the physical state of his brain I doubt he could even comprehend everything with Eddie. It makes me mad that Benoit as been scrubbed by WWE when there’s more than enough evidence to suggest that the physical state of his brain was directly caused by head trauma sustained while wrestling. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened and if we forget Benoit it won’t be the last.

The Raw Show after Eddies Death destroyed me. Took me Weeks to watch Wrestling again. I had so much Hype for Raw vs. Smackdown at that Time. But that was gone and after Weeeks I watched the Show.

At the same time he said he had lukemia, he was also ask extra on his cousin’s(the rock’s) movie that he starred in called FS9 or fast and furious nine. I still speculate to this day whether he had lukemia or not really…

It was actually Hobbs & Shaw. But you have to realise, shooting a movie is SIGNIFICANTLY easier than pro wrestling.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart's life is tragic. He lost all youngsters Owen, Anvil and the British Bulldog (Brother-in-law) way too early 😢 Vince ditched him in his farewell match. But, he is still one of my favourite WWE Superstars of all time ❤

Everyone says The Montreal Screw Job was a work, but I doubt Vince McMahon would allow any Wrestler to spit on his face like that, even the Undertakercsays it wasn't a work, and he's not a liar like Earl Hebner.
