We're hunting alongside Brad, Kaiden, and Karson Powers, and the two young hunters are looking to bag their first fox squirrel! They've traveled from EKY to the bluegrass region to make this happen, and their dog "Bell" is hot on the trail.

Squirrel hunting with a good dog makes a great day! I sure love taking my Rat Terrier out, and at 2 years old she's almost got the complete hang of things. These boys had the same kinda reaction I did when I killed my first squirrel. I still have that same reaction to this day. Nothing beats a great day squirrel hunting.

I live in Vietnam. The forest was empty and deciduous like that. What a good place to take care. If we had a forest like that, we would have hunted all the squirrels with a slingshot. no gun needed.

You said it right. You have to keep the kids interested. Squirrel hunting is it. They can walk around and learn about the surrounding. Look at T ball leagues. How many kids give up the idea of baseball because all they do is stand in the field. Most start playing in the dirt. It's boring. It would be the same deer hunting.
