How amazing that is!! Last week I also had my VERY BEST kiln load I’ve ever had!! I am still amazed with it. I have the kiln cooling now with my second load and I’m afraid I’ll be let down from now on since I had such a great load last time. Lol

Wow, even in this other firing Bailey's Red 2 turned out the same. As beautiful as ever. I don't seem to get it to work. Not in a cone 6, not in cone 8. I put my tiles back into the bisque firing since I heard that that sometimes works well for tomato red glazes. So the tiles I fired to cone 6 are back in the bisque. I will let you know how they look. 😊

Brown. And after bisque it was even worse 😂 I am in Europe so probably I need to recalculate in Glazy with the materials we have here. Not giving up yet 😊

BEAUTIFUL! Can you explain what you mean exactly by medium firing?

Thank you! Medium firing is just how fast it fires! On the digital kiln you can select fast medium or slow. The difference from slow to medium is about 5 hours.

Yes, it turns out great every time, slow, fast, cone 5 and 6! Bailey’s red just needs to be thick!
