I know it’s too late for your current campaign, but on my Sun Ce play through I made Lu Bu my sworn sibling before I killed him off via events. Got that Crescent halberd to transfer to me instead of Cao Cao. A very neat trick that can be used on any ruler that dies via events. I even got Lu Bu to brother up Sun Jian and claim his Art of War. Specifically mentioned items like Imperial Seal and Red Hare seem to be event locked and cannot be inherited through this method.

A little sad we didn't have a BvC dual but oh well. Sun Ce's real power... Is friendship. I like to think Sun Ce is putting Yuan Shu through a training regime to put him up to shape.

Units get a lot of score for taking out the commander so that’s why Lu Xun got 1st even though you did so much damage. Antagonisms is this game are kinda silly. Basically if an officer that’s far from you on the compatibility chart whacks you once, they antagonize. Hopefully Lu Bu comes to work for Sun Ce and his benevolent spirit, SeriousTrivia. He gives gifts after all!

Playing and watching this game inspired me to get the "newest" version of the game and if you can believe it this game is actually easier to recruit officers in. The QoL in this remake is straight up better than what's supposed to be the latest game.

I am pretty sure you dont have to give them exactly what they like to gain more loyalty with them. I think that is if you only want to boost the devotion bar more than the normal amount. So even if they dont like Liqour you can still get more loyalty than a basic gift.

I can imagine the built up frustration in Sun Ce. We showed our goodwill and did not commit any harmful acts and yet, Liu Bei has raised our anger with his constant attack and blatant disregard for our goodwill. 'My lord, it's time to draw your sword and show Liu Bei that our slogan 'Fear the tiger of Jiangdong' isn't a bluff.'

You can win that duel of Leng Bao Vs Yang Huai on round 4, you play Special + 3 + 4 + 5 and Yang Huai can only play Special + 1 + 1 + 1, and you win. Yang Huai has only a sliver of health bar left. Don't keep saving cards if you can win in 1 strikes, it's like you keep overthinking and having tunnel vision. You played every round right except the most critical one on this duel.

i would really love it if you dont rush the ending of the game it is getting really fun with the Ai having extended life and faster growth it is the first time i ve seen them be somewhat competent
