8:56 *WOLF FIGHT TIPS* When you got stuck like that, run away around two meters or so and come back to bite so you aren’t stuck in that weird turn around animation and closeness with the wolves! Remember to rapidly spam “a” and “d” to get off of them. The faster you press them the faster you get off! I will mention that you are also going a bit too fast. When you were trying to bite the other wolf, you ran at it. You don’t need to! If the red jaw icon is there, just press space from there, it’ll make it less confusing! I’d also recommend locking onto the wolf that is biting Breeze (or whatever you’re trying to protect) if theres two, target one and bite, but let go right away so you can get the other. You don’t need to stay there to get them off. You don’t even need to deal damage, so just quick bite and get the other so they are off of Breeze. Sometimes they will come back immediately but that’s fine because you can do it again. I’ll also just say that you can bite through the wolf. For example, the wolf is on the other side of Breeze and is biting her - If that red jaw is still there, you don’t need to run around and bite the wolf, you can attack from there right there on the other side. Weird, but hey, take advantage! The front throat bites are where you can deal the most damage, and the neck is the second best. Only use the legs and belly when you cant reach the throat. Also look behind you for a wolf that might charge you if you are currently attacking one. Keep in mind that you still have to have the animation play, so It’ll give extra time for that other wolf to run up and attack you as the animation of getting off the wolf is playing. So, if you see a wolf coming at you, when its abour seven meters away, break off. Oh yes, and I forgot to mention that you should probably zoom all the way out. Also remember to use more emotes! That can pursue the wolves to head out, so when you are running and trying to find a good bite opportunity, snarl, growl, or do a confident tail. It shouldn’t take more than a second if you memorize them. (not an exatteration!) You also dont need to fight every second, you can wait a moment to trot in circles and stand to recover your stanima. If a wolf comes for you, rapidly press “a” and “d” even before they have bitten you. Yes, this requires quite some reflex haha. But I think your main problem is just accuracy, so my main recommendation is use your lock! (Left click)

Sometimes, in such situations you still have to fight regardless of tiredness or where you are. One of my wolves rescued their mate from 3 of his family who ganged up on him, he was left with like 3% health when he escaped thanks to her. Her biting them while hitting the woof helped. Of course yes, they did have a den with some pups at this time. And Another of my wolves once literally fought off 5 wolves at once pretty much by themselves.

Little story cuz Attie was ah-may-zing! Atlas started to mark the grass patch, his mind on his pups, when Breeze barked a panicked alert. He whisked around to find two wolves lunging toward his mate. He thrust himself between them and sank his teeth into the leg of one of the wolves, tasting his wet blood. He let go quickly and turned tail. His stamina was already running low, they had to get out. “Breeze!” He exclaimed, starting to run toward their territory. Crazy with fear for his mate and feeling the hot breath of his enemy on his paws, he focused simply on his strides. Badum, badum. Badum, badum. One two three four one two three four. He smelled his territory and as his paws leaped over the imaginary line he spun in midair to face his enemy. He growled as the wolf paced on the other side. Breeze came barreling toward him and skidded to a stop next to him. Now that the panic was over, Atlas caught a scent. Crevice Lake. The other wolf came trotting toward his partner. One of them was an alpha. Atlas was not sure whether to take that as a compliment or feel rage, but he snarled once more and turned on his heels, starting to walk slowly away. Suddenly he heard a squeal and two furious growls. He whirled around and saw it. Breeze was writhing on the ground as both wolves tore at her neck, her stomach, her face. His vision turned bloodred. How dare they attack her. How dare they attack his mate. How dare they attack an obviously pregnant wolf??!! He charged toward his enemy, letting out a howl of sheer fury. I will not forgive you for this, Crevice Lake. He thought. Never. The rest of the battle was a blur. He barely processed it. His brain only came back to its senses as he saw the tails of his enemies, running as fast as they could. His breaths came in pants. Breeze was safe. The Crevice Lake wolves? Atlas would make sure they weren’t.

I have a great idea for a challenge for one of the wolves that you can do I made it up myself but I actually think it’s one of the secret accomplishments you can get in the game and it’s after you move into your first then in your puppies are born choose “move den” and then just wander around having them hide in bushes that way they can be near when you go hunting you can claim territory as you need to and you won’t have to be separated from them for too long and so far it’s going pretty well my pups are almost to 15 pounds already. As long as you’re careful it should be fine my mate did die though because we woke up and there were some bison near us and he decided to try and fight them and obviously he lost but other than that it’s going great.

Once upon a time a she-wolf of the Crevice Lake Pack took a liking to a wolf within Prospect Peak Pack. The parents angered by this disloyalty met each other and came to a stand still. When a bear charged in with cubs and took the lives of the ill-fated pair. Each pack wanting to be close to their lost pack member tried to claim the slice of territory that they had been lost in, stirring up yet more trouble between not only themselves but new arrivals to Slough Creek. And the bear, well the bear and its decedents are still around and sometimes their cubs play with the skulls of the wolves that were lost. A tragic end to the love story of a Crevice Lake Pack Wolf and a Prospect Pack Pack Wolf. Will the new arrivals be able to claim the land and keep the two feuding packs out? And will the bear continue to destroy hopes and dreams though they only want to protect and feed their own cubs? What tales await are as yet unknown, but let there be hope that fewer mournful tearful howls will be unleashed.
