incredible how Serral was losing from the beginning and went to turtle but then Clem made a slight mistake over-stepped and Serral gets map control can expands and simultaniously switching from CaveBob into Ling, Hydra Bane because he had the bases to just keep throwing units at Clem. Beautiful Starcraft from both Serral and Clem.

What do you mean Clem was too slow on the defensive rotation? Terran army are always slower and less efficient in supply compare to the Zerg army, there is no way Terran can defend multiple bases even with a max out army, assuming if the Zerg know how to rotate around.

I can't tell if it's just serral, but zerg is definitely still on the cusp of being straight up broken... Terran takes a bad fight and loses the game ( fungal on marines ) serral loses 4 in a row and still keeps map control. It's honestly just making TvZ a bit stale to watch, I hope you guys take a look at it for the next patch

Yea I feel like ghosts are too strong while everything else in the terran arsenal is too weak to deal with these floods of units. Zergs just have it too easy early game to get up to 5 bases in my opinion. After that they just throw units away like its no tomorrow, I bet serral lost twice as many infestors/vipers compared to lost ghosts. Once the terran is in his corner there is almost never a moment where he can breathe over on the other side of the map, which is really sad.

@@qwertziop0 These are fair points but i don't think we should make any conclusions about the matchup from watching the best player in the world. I am curious to hear what Harstem thinks about the matchup's balance though and specifically this point about ghosts.

it's just serral also, you guys fail to see it: serral had ~75% of the map, way more income, etc. and yet he had to send multiple waves of units against clem to win clem would've won way before getting ~75% of the map

@@indybruining na I'm just a lowly d2 scrub. Its my point of view from watching a ton of high level tvz. I know I can't play terran like that, noone up to high gm can tbh. The problem is zergs can still get to a lot of bases really easily even in diamond and its really tough for players of all levels to deny really greedy zergs, that's why I think that the terran lacks tools to properly pressure zergs early on (taking a 4th base isn't early), apart from minor harass that just gets shut down by lings and queens. I also feel that terran late game offense is really weak compared to defensive potential
