I Love love love the ordinary foundation. I actually bought it after watching your previous video where you used it. I am so impressed with how it feels on my skin and the natural finish it gives but still gives me great coverage

Nice the comparison between a "Drugstore" serum foundation from the Ordinary and a more high end serum foundation from Tarte. Tarte serum foundation cost 5x more than the serum foundation from the Ordinary. I myself are very happy with the Ordinary serum foundation for some years now.

I've been an Ordinary Serum foundation stan for years and this was a fun comparison. With the Ordinary giving me a perfect shade match, nice finish, and graceful wear for that price, it's hard for me to try anything else.

I really enjoyed the battle style video. I have been considering a serum foundation but currently use a tinted moisturizer. Is it just a consistency difference between the serum vs moisturizer?

It's so refreshing and helpful to have a KZbinr who really shows us their skin. I love The Ordinary's serum foundation, but this comparison really stopped me feeling like I was missing out by not buying the one from Tarte!

i reallllly enjoyed this battle!!! you and i are very similar when it comes to base products. i’m not into foundations. i’m into either bb creams, skin tints or tinted moisturizers. i have been thinking about getting the ordinary serum foundation since i saw your review a little while ago but i still actually had this exact tarte foundation on my wishlist. upon watching this review, i’m now positive that i’m going to try the ordinary serum foundation. i really love the coverage and the way it wears, and i reallllly love the price point. thank you so much for this battle. 💚💚💚

After trying MULTIPLE foundations of all kinds I've finally ended up with two that I love and use daily - The Ordinary and CP Pretty Fresh. The Ordinary is easy for me to get here in the UK and when I make my occasional CP orders I always add one of the Pretty Fresh to it. I don't even bother trying any others now:)

Love the Ordinary foundation and I’m usually purchase Chanel foundation. I just bought it on a whim and love it. I was interested in the Tarte foundation as well since I’m a fan of shape tape. Great video!

Hi Amanda I recently bought the Tarte foundation on a whim and like it a lot but I will definitely pick up the Ordinary foundation to try on a go forward. I do like Tarte for other products as well and used to really enjoy their eye shadow until I started buying Indie brand more colorful makeup. This was a good comparison. One about cream cheek and highlighters would be great.

I got and tried the Ordinary Serum foundation. I found it pilled up a lot on me. Do you use a primer underneath? How do you make it stay well? Did I just get a dud? Also, what brush did you use to apply? Looking for a good foundation brush like that. No idea where to start! 😬

I feel like as long as you let your primer completely set down before you put it on, it'll be fine, plus shake up the foundation well each time. I use an elf foundation brush or sponge and have a great time with it. Never had an issue with piling personally, I have combo skin.

I don't know what is in the Tarte hydroflex but it dried me out.
