KHZ should create a place where everyone can share their custom filters and wavetables, and access this public data directly from their plugins/PhasePlant. The real power of the KHZ ecosystem lies within the community.

I believed they mentionned in one of their streams that they are working on something of that sort.

@@BlackMarvin yeah, they announced it an NAMM as well, that they are working on some sort of online system for sharing presets and all that

Update: Just wanted to share that the bank is fantastic! Excited to see more of your solutions for kHz products.

@@solo9334 Thanks for the update! I'm glad that you enjoy the bank! I'm currently working on more stuff for the KHZ plugins. I have something related to spatial alterations (delays, reverbs etc) in the works. Here's also some banks that are already out : www.fractalsounds.ca/fractalsoundpresetbanks/phase-plant www.fractalsounds.ca/fractalsoundpresetbanks/p/sludgeformultipass

Is there a place where I can find instructions on how to install the preset bank? Looked around and came up empty.
@BlackMarvin10 ай бұрын
Drag and drop on Phase Plant (or Snap Heap or Multipass. It will appear in Snap Heap afterwards and you can load it like I do in the video.

thank you! These are really great by the way, I'd love to see a tutorial where you build some of these and other tools from scratch and walk us through your thought process. @@BlackMarvin

@@rhinoslime I forgot to mention it in the video but I did a group lesson showing that process for the members of Fractal Mentorships. It's currently available in the archives. Aside from that, stay tuned, I'm currently working a series of videos for the Kilohearts channel and there's a video that partially covers the stacking process involved in some of these filters.

Anyone know how to get around the limitations of only having 3 insert FX lanes? 32 potential sound generator/sources, which is unreal… but I’m forced to funnel them through only three insert FX channels??? 🤷♂️ Am I missing something…
@BlackMarvin10 ай бұрын
A short answer would be : Snap Heap. You can potentially get infinite lanes, the only limitation would be the CPU performance really.
@ghfjfghjasdfasdf10 ай бұрын
Thanks, but already thought about that and Multipass… can’t route any modulation from inside Phaseplant into snapheap if it’s in an fx lane. If CCs could be routed to CCs in whatever fx were setup in the fx lanes, then it would be insanely modular.
@BlackMarvin10 ай бұрын
@@ghfjfghjasdfasdf if inside your Snap heap unit you route a macro, it then appears as a modulatable unit inside Phase Plant. If you want to move something inside Snap heap with a Phase Plant LFO, just make sure you create a Snap Heap macro. Hopefully I understood correctly what you meant.
@ghfjfghjasdfasdf10 ай бұрын
Yeah, the macros are an option for sure… I meant a 1to1 CC to CC solution, but the macro option is powerful and better than nothing.

just to be clear xD any other synth on the market only has 1 fx lane. at least you get 3. and as mentioned snap heap makes fx lane inception
