I might add: Mono in the Voicing Parameters Compressor, just a bit with a good ratio and fast attack and reverb =) Thanks for the tutorial! really getting it with serum, amazing synth! I would also mention the synthmaster from kv331 audio. those two are really what you will ever need.

Is serum an FM synthesizer or just a regular synth plugin?

It's still a subtractive synth but I wouldn't call it a regular synth plugin. It's an advanced wavetable synth. It does however have FM capabilities, for example you can use one osc to modulate the other.
