What a wonderful show, sort of an updated/modernized Slavic version of "Mister Smith Goest to Washington." Just finished watching the first season on Netflix and I can hardly wait until they get subtitles done for the second. Nearly perfect mix of humor, poignancy, and intrigue -- coupled with clever script-writing and very solid acting. If this is the normal sort of programing coming out of Ukraine these days then I'm really looking forward to seeing more!

My understanding is that the second season only recently finished airing in Ukraine. I'm not sure but suspect that Netflix has already licensed it and it's in the process of being translated. Given their record for translating other foreign shows my guess would be they'll make it available for streaming some time in early 2018. I've also heard that Fox TV purchased the rights to make an English language version of the show, which may or may not turn out well (e.g. consider the differences between the US and British versions of 'House of Cards' or 'The Office').

The second season had just begun near the week ago at ukrainian TV. There are just seven series of it. The quality and humor of it made level up jump. Enjoy it, when it will be on the netflix %)
