Thank you for sharing. I lost my way in life. But I have known about Jehovah since childhood through bible study and the kingdom hall. Then stopped going to meetings and bible study. For 20 to 30 years Iv'e led a life of sin, and unhappiness. I feel so ashamed. now I'm clean and sober, I really want to re learn and start over bible teachings, I have alwasys felt ashamed and embarresd to pray and talk to jehovah because of the life I led. I spoke to him through jesus for the 1st time yesterday to ask for the mental strengh to get to know him again, through his teachings as I suffer with anxiety. I'm going on holiday tommorrow, taking my bible with me and some other spiritual literature that I've not read in years. eventualy I will reach out to witnesses to know how to serve him. My goals are to go to meetings, recieve bible study, and hopfully somewere down the line do ministry work thats what I want my future to look like, I hope you don't mind this reply, Just really needed to share this.
