Server Assassin is Absolutely Terrifying

Ok, so. There are a few errors with this video. First off, I completely forgot about damage ticks and how they affect how much damage the Server Assassin took, so sorry about that. Second off, when I say that the Server Assassin could've been teleported, I wasn't 100% serious. Rather, I was just giving an potential idea. I forgot about the possibility of nether travel and higher ping, which could've led to different outcomes. Also, the deal with SB737 and ClownPierce will probably remain as Clown did specify Mini and Quiff (to be fair he didn't know about Server Assassin). Hopefully this clears some up some of the stuff in this video.
In this video, I recap the greatest 2 Friend or Foe episodes (of season 2) yet. I also point out some key details you might've missed, and even discuss who I believe the Server Assassin is.

For the first point - while for us it appeared as if the Server Assassin rapidly gained on Clown (seemingly odd), we don't know how long it took for the Server Assassin to actually get to Clown. On top of that, if we're using SB's travel as a relative comparison, the Server Assassin had a good 5 minute lead (don't forget that he had many ender pearls) with which to catch up to Clown. And considering SB gets to the snowy mountain about 6-8 minutes after the fight started, that does make sense if the Assassin went directly for Clown, which again, makes sense because why else would the Assassin have travelled that far out (+ Clown had by far the most lives on the server, so the Assassin probably wanted to even out the odds for the other members a bit). For the second point - I agree, this was kind of dumb, but then again, Clown did comment after the video that he had been excessively overconfident and hadn't planned for a potential death, so it's likely that he was thinking that he was in a corner and the only way out was to kill the Assassin, at least until his healing got low and he realised that he couldn't take out the Assassin with the equipment disadvantage (which was reasonable - Clown almost killed the Assassin twice). For the third point - It is survivable without a god apple or a totem. The Server Assassin had just eaten, giving saturation and therefore rapid natural regeneration. On top of this, the damage tick from Clown's crits may well have blocked out the Warden melee attacks considering the damage tick, and even if none of the prior two were true, the Server Assassin did have gapples which he could have eaten when he landed that pearl very easily (on top of already having two extra absorption hearts from a prior gapple, so he'd have been on at least 3 hearts and could have eaten another gapple to keep himself alive when his pearl landed). Also, the Server Assassin was eating suspicious stews too (not many, but we did see them briefly in the hand of the Assassin), and those are completely busted for saturation and natural regen. For the fourth point - the Assassin didn't teleport there because firstly, there were no ender particles, secondly we saw "Sweeping Attack" sound subtitle, meaning the Assassin must have done a sweeping attack on something. Whenever you break a boat with a sword, it does a sweeping attack. Go figure, the Assassin got there through breaking a boat, and seeing as the boat deposits you on whichever is the nearest standable surface, it can look like a teleport (and for the inevitable "we didn't see the boat", yes, but the momentum that you get from ice travelling and water travelling could allow for that). For the fifth point - you've done a pretty good job of suggesting who it could be. The Assassin currently being in North America is likely, considering Clown and Server Assassin both took knockback akin to low ping, and Clown is currently NA so the Server Assassin would also have to be NA. It could very well be Mugm. It could aslo be some other people with smaller KZbin presences who are more known in the PVP Community. I can't really say for sure, and I haven't seen how Mugm fights for a while. But if it is Mugm, I think that would be very interesting indeed. Nice commentary.

when I was calculating the damage the Server Assassin took on my test world, I completely forgot about damage ticks so some of my numbers were wrong. The server assassin probably survived that sequence on 1 or 2 hearts. And the 2 teleport claims? Those were just speculation lol. The boat thing really threw me off because I've never seen anything like that happen before, but it could've just very much have been a ping issue.

The Server Assassin only survived the 2 sonic booms, 2 crits and anither 2 hits from the warden because suspicious stew is abolutely busted and regenerated health so fast, so yes he would have been very low on health, but it makes sense how he didn't die

I mis counted the amount of damage each blast/melee hit did in my test world and also forgot about tick damage, so mine isn’t the most accurate. Server Assassin didn’t need a notch apple, just an extra stew or normal gapple.

2:30 i think that it was because of the server assasins boat lagging behind as he got out. This happens often when ice boating as you are going so quick. This is confirmed a few seconds later where we hear a boat being broken, implying that SA had just got out of a boat and it had taken a second to catch up due to lag.

at around 2:00 in this video when you talk about how the server assassin somehow survived, the reason it because he was only hit by one sonic boom, one was blocked with his shield, which you can do and it just disables it, which it did. at 2:30, the way they teleported looks like they just got out of a boat that was block glitched, which is common in servers and the boat was probably offscreen, you can also see the rowing.

I agree with most of yourt points about it being mugm_ but on the beginning of the fight you can see the server assassin hit clowns shield with a pickaxe but mugm has both a pickaxe and an axe in his normal hotbar and uses different keybinds for them

He carries both gaps and sus stew on his hotbar, mug's slot for his pick is the 7th but that's his totem slot, and with no totems on forf there's no way for him to switch, but mug's sus stew slot is his 7th and switches his pickaxe randomly to any of his 1st 3 slots.

1:45 Just by the way the server assassin didn’t actually 2 sonic booms of damage as the 2 sonic booms happened within 0.5 seconds of one another so the assassin only took the damage of the first one if you want to find any more information on damage ticks just search up a crystal PvP tutorial Edit: the people below are right the damage can stack up if you were hit by a lesser damage source and then a greater source in the space of 0.5 seconds however the warden blasts are exact meaning the damage does not stack as neither damage source is greater than the other

not how damage ticks work. you only take the damage from the stronger source thats why when you pearl flash the sword hit still deos damage. when your hit by 2 sonic booms they both do equal damage meaning they both register you just only take the knockback from the first sonic boom.

@@delta2370i don't think this is right, if all equal sources registered, you could grab an autoclicker that spams your sword and deal little damage every tick, this doesn't happen however, also according to the wiki a further source is ignored if it's less than or equal to the original, not an expert though, i might be wrong

@@carlonerisecondo its just if its less then it deosnt register the damage. Also the reason that you can’t just get a autolicker is because your hitting to fast for the hits to be registered. That’s why you can’t just spam end crystals after a hit crystal. There a certain period of time after the hit register during the damage tick that any damage just can’t be registered. That thats why a flint and steel clutch is possible if you place the fire exactly at the right time before you fall you won’t take the fall damage. Im not sure how exactly long the window is but it’s most likely lower then 1/10th of a second. Could this have happened? Ye. Do i think its probable? Not at all in the slightest.

Here’s my theory I think the server assassin is multiple people because in the friend or foe dc mini said “what if it’s more than 1 person” and I wouldn’t think much of this but if you remember back to a month ago ferre and mugm BOTH joined the friend or foe dc at the exact same time and said “hi” so I think it’s ferre and mugm I think they probably both have access to the account and it was probably ferre using the account against clown

Mugm has recently been taught by ferre in uhc/shield pvp which is needed for forf, ferre and mugm have 2 completely different playstyles, the assassin plays more like mugm than ferre during the fight.

when the server assassin found clown really quickly, I think he had a player tracker but he never used it yet, then when clown logged on and pvp was on he came, and he new when to join because SB said that he knows when they join and when they don't, also I do think he is Mugum, and clown lagged a bit since he is filming, and filming can take away fps, that is how the assassin looked liked he teleported.

Mugm has a “instinct” you could call it, of offhanding to totem (since Bliss SMP members use gems in offhand), and early in the fight he swaps to something in his offhand from of his shield, interpreting his instinct of the offhand as Clown critted him multiple times for maybe a couple hearts.

I won every round I played with that quote which solidfies the idea of my being him lol. Also when you talk about the sonic booms I tanked 1 one sonic boom from the warden while having a golden helmet, prot 3 leggings and golden boots. No potions or gapples just half saturation

Mini is a very new minecraft player so he has a lot of disadvantages to the rest of the group and quiff isn't there 90% of the time. Clownpierce also has a major advantage in pvp skill to the rest of the group so if they tried to make it similar to season 1 they would have to ban Clownpierce. Another problem is that it's clear that Clownpierce will win and the only one who has a chance is Sb but that probably won't happen since he can't even kill clown when clown can't fight back.

Ok so let me break it down for you, knockback works from when getting hit more knockback comes from sprint hits but netherite has a knockback resistance effect, even with netherite you still take some kb, kb on high ping with netherite makes you take a lot less, and with clown now in Canada if you can notice his kb is also now delayed, the only way for high ping ppl to take somewhat normal kb is from someone using a kb1 sword which neither of the two were using. Kb does correlate to ping and depends purely on how high oh ping you have. Those booms could do 5 hearts each but due to regen itd do 5 hearts at last. However they probably didnt register due to damage ticks. (Clown's crits registered instead)

Yeah, when I was testing on my test world, I totally forgot about damage ticks. I took 2 sonic booms at once but only took 5 hearts instead of 10 because of damage ticks which led me to believe each sonic boom only did 3 hearts lol. But the saturation thing, Server Assassin didn’t pop a suspicious stew in time when Clown started hitting him. However, the assassin probably got away on 1-2 hearts and then just popped a gap or 2.

I think I have a couple of ideas on what the contingency plan that SB has is, but I also think that server assassin in not Mugm. I belive that SB's plan could be to use the fishing rod status chamber design (although he hasn't made one in his videos, and I'm not sure if he's allowed to do things that benefit his progress off camera) because he can manually activate it to get him out of a tricky situation. I'm surprised clown didn't think about it because of his deal with SB considering it was used on lifesteal season 4. I also don't think that Mugm is the server assassin, just because I personally feel clown is just a lot better at PvP. You can see in clown's bliss SMP video that he was winning most of the fights (until the gem destroyed him) and while server assassin heavily outgeared clown, it seemed like clown was the underdog most of the time, looking at who generally getting more hits. But that's just a guess, I honestly can't know for sure. Great in depth video!

I did some mis-calculations when testing the damage. I thought each sonic boom only did 2.5 hearts because I counted wrong, but they both do 5 hearts. the reason server assassin survived is because of a mechanic called 'damage ticks'.

I did slightly miscalculate the amount of damage each attack does to the server assassin. The saturation would’ve tanked the initial sonic boom (the one before clown jumps down). If you slow down the video, however, you can see that the server assassin isn’t able to pop another stew in time.
