Can you remove the hdd bay and replace it with another 5.25 setup? One caddy costs about 60€ or 300 zl which is a lot of money that I don't want to waste on a piece of metal. Or can you plug in a hdd without a caddy attached?

How loud is this server? If not overloaded, can it be used as a "desk" PC? I know what is the difference between a server and a workstation. My question is about what if one of these in my home? Can I live with it? I have a Primergy TX300 S6, and it is unbearably loud...

It is definitely not suitable to work as a DESKTOP.
