I've learned more about Active Directory than I have when I attended the "My Computer Career" school. The first 10 minutes gave me enough information and skills, where I can practice this by myself and get hands on experience.

This was awesome, thanks! Extremely well explained. Not only am I pretty confident with the basics of AD, I can now build a fully functional VM and get MS Server 2016 properly configured. Had a bit of a time with Hyper-V, but after all I learned trying that, the VirtualBox setup was pretty easy. Thank you so much.

Hi, just to let you know. I have found this very useful. It seems that any job in IT these days require AD knowledge, and you're right, without experience in AD it is difficult to acquire that knowledge. This video has helped. I think I'll need to learn about Azure now, as this seems to be also a requirement.

Hi Paul, Loved this vid!! You mentioned deleting an account in AD. I only have very limited exposure to AD, but I was told to not delete an account, but to make it inactive when a user leaves. Then, once a new user is hired, reactivate that account and add the new users details so that you don't have to redo all the access administration that the old user had. Is that good practice or just a personal choice? -Phil

You’re de minimizing a degree and I used to feel the same way until last 5 years, it’s getting very difficult to obtain a Help Desk or desktop support job . A computer science degree, PC certification and experience gives you the edge getting hire in todays competitive job market. Which I current experience this summer trying to find Help Desk or Deskside support with 12 years experience
