v4 is no bueno! v4 is the reason i switched from serverless to SAM.

Why? It hasn't even come out yet. The pricing structure hasn't been officially announced yet, and it will only affect organizations making more than 2 million dollars a year, plus lots of organizations (and individuals) are included in the excemption. If the tool is helping your organization make decent money and you can derive productivity from it then it can be a worthy investment. Plus, v3 would still be free, so you can always switch later when v4 comes out and you can make an informed choice once you see what it has to offer.
