The best part about this guide is that you also mention the scenarios, when you use certain spells and trade cds. Many other guides will mostly focus on the talents to pick, but give too little information about their proper usage

I hit 2k as Disc priest, then decided because of the meta creep to reroll Holy. This guide is perfect. I didn't know a lot about Holy but this seems to cover pretty much everything. I never knew about the SW:D play either, that's a crazy play.

Thanks for the video (even tho we already have a new expansion and season1). Was wondering - how did you set up your keys? Do you use WSAD or just ASD/QWE? I see you have some spells assigned to S or shift+W. A brief video covering your thought process behind keybinds and setup would be helpful. Things like - in your opinion it's best to assign damage to the most comfy keys or healing (as holy)? Your priorities etc. I'm re-learning everything from scratch and I'm struggling a bit trying to figure that out :O On the other hand, I know how time consuming video creation is, so don't worry if you don't have time. This video is already Gold :D! Cheers and keep up the amazing work :D

Thank you for the guide. I notice sometimes u sneak in a Power Word: Shield. So, 2 questions: 1. When do u feel it is ideal to sneak in a Power Word: Shield? (I know it's fairly mana inefficient, but according to CDew's guide...it isn't affected by things like Sharpen Blade). 2. Lately, I've been trying to pump out Sanctify during Spirit of Redemption more or Apotheosis - to conserve mana. What are your thoughts on this? I feel Sanctify is nice to have the Divine Image pump, but it's mana costly.

To be honest power word shield has such little value it doesn’t really matter. You could probably remove it from your bar and it wouldn’t change anything! I think I just use it at the end of topping someone at the end of a cast. I never use it on its own if that makes sense! And using sanctify in apotheosis is good! I also do this for your 2 set and also because it’s free mana healing! Although I only use it in spirit to get the divine image buff when I don’t have a serenity charge or I want to save the stacks. Hope this helps!

@@Xraid32 I think it’s also important to add that I only use sanctify in apotheosis if 1 - I have no serenity stacks and 2 - I am unable to cast flash heal safely to regain the serenity stacks. I use sanctify as a way to make the most out of apotheosis. I hope that makes sense! :)

Great guide, any advice around when to deal damage, and when not to deal damage? I hear mixed advice as damage creates pressure, even when enemy go's are up still and team mates are half health, do you push damage to secure a trade (def) or just go back to healbot mode and try to ensure team mates dont use a def?

I always try to help deal damage when my team mates have a lot of offensive pressure! But obviously you need to prioritise keep your team mates alive. Sometimes playing offensive is the best defensive though!

Hello, I am currently returning to wow after a few year break. I always played Holy even in PVP but people are telling me to not do holy for pvp. I am trying Disc but I don't think I will ever get used to it or be great at it. Do you think Holy is still viable in War Within? Does it even matter as long as you are better at playing the class you would rather play lol?

Sorry I am a brand new player to the game, I got my build from murlok which is the same as yours but I don't understand what you mean by stun or incap? How do you make chastise an incap? It says on the tooltip it's a stun when I remove that talent?

@@boganbattalion7088 there’s a talent called ‘Censure’ which turns your chastise into a stun rather than an incap. Incap drs with polymorph, trap, etc, whereas when you play the talent ‘Censure’ it turns it into a a stun so your chastise will dr with other stuns like kidney shot, cheap shot, hand of justice, etc. Hope this helps!

I have a macro that casts spirit and hymn at the same time. Sometimes, and I can’t figure out why, it casts hymn without spirit which is game breaking. Do you have a good macro for this?

I don’t use a macro for this and to be honest I think it’s bad because you don’t always want to hymm instantly after you spirit. Sometimes you want to dispel as your first global (vs affli, sp, boomy on incarn, ele, etc) It’s all situational. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tip. What I ended up doing was exactly that. I set it as a cast sequence so I press it once I spirit, then I can MD or serenity and hymn after. Seems to work well.
