If its a TXV system is needs a start assist also. You will be back again to change that capacitor out again. Read your manuals.

If it requires a start assist, they would install it at the factory. They already do that on several models.

@@realSamAndrewI think this is some kind of carrier product. And their instructions state clearly to add a start assist if equipped with a TXV. Condensers can be used on several different air handlers but some applications require a start assist. Companies are saving the money on not installing them and calling it a “field installed” item which is an upsell. Don’t be a hack and read some literature friend.
