Service of Non-Running Vintage West End Watch | ASMR | DIY

We serviced this non running vintage West End Watch. There were too many fingerprints on the movement and the main spring was also broken due to which the watch was stopping after few seconds. We also polished the case to make it look fresh again. Dial and hands had beautiful patina on them, so we kept them as it is.

Hey there I'm very curious what solution you're using to clean the parts once you disassemble the watch? I have an ultrasonic machine but I don't think that will get all the old grease off.

The yellow one is mercury lotion. It softens the grease & dried up oil pretty easily & the clear one is isopropyl alcohol.

Its balance wheel staff is broken. Just replace the balance wheel and it will be fine again.
