That was a good informative video. I would have never thought about poking a small hole and inserting a straw. That's quite clever. I can't wait to meet everyone in Mount Airy. Along with everyone else. It will be so much fun sitting around and swapping stories and tips and tricks. Plus seeing all the history of Mount Airy.

We have had an eu2000 for about 20 years, picked it up when hurricane took out our power. Still runs like a top. I run it for 15 min 3-4 times a year to keep it running good, yearly maintenance is just an oil change. I ALWAYS keep Sta-Bil in the gas tank because ours sits a lot. I have never even looked at our spark arrestor , I will have to do a video on ours. Great job with this video, camera on a tripod gives clear focused video, audio was clear and clean with just the right amount of background music.
@JurgensJourneys5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and the detailed comment. Do you use ethanol free gasoline? I do and was wondering if I still need to use Sta-Bil. I have always added it to regular gas in small engines, but started using the non-ethanol in my Honda.

I can now see why everyone went on with the beans. You are a man of many talents. Very cool demo on the process for the generator. You know your stuff on that as well. Thank you for the great information.

The beans where a bigger hit than the generator LOL I think I'll do one just on cooking beans. I have done my own small engine maintenance for quite a while, but still turn to KZbin for help at times. It's a great way to share our knowledge too. Your videos are very helpful too, especially the product reviews. Thanks for watching. I know you're very busy. Take care, my friend.

Honda makes a great generator. I have the Yamaha 2000i and love it. These generators are very quiet and if serviced regularly will last years. Good video Jurgen! Give Rottenbear some love from us.

Hey Jurgen great video was hoping to see you adjust the spark plug now I know how to change the oil thanks for sharing
@JurgensJourneys5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. The spark plugs are always preset when you buy them, but if they do need adjusting, you simply tap lightly on the end to close the gap, or spread the gap with the little spreader that come on the feeler gauge. I'm sorry, I could have demonstrated that, but most parts stores can show you how that is done.

Haven't had to service ours just yet with only 4 hours of service on it. We have the Predator 3500. When I work in my garage during the winter I will use the wood stove to cook on too or keep the coffee hot. It's a free heat source and I don't have to buy wood as I get all the wood I need for free. I'd keep a old oil cap around and epoxy a straw to it just in case.
@JurgensJourneys5 жыл бұрын

I've always changed the oil with a cold engine. But, it makes total sense to warm it up first, that thins the oil a bit. Great tip. We have 6 hours on our inverter and that was testing it for a day to see what it could handle, as far as the load goes. Good video. Thank for sharing.
