EDGE DJ CONSOLE BY DANNY MAX (FIRST LOOK)

This is a first look at the new EDGE L DJ console by Max Design! I was able to go LIVE from the Mobile Entertainment Expo exhibit floor and demonstrate this BRAND NEW pedestal booth that folds completely flat in a matter of minutes. DJs can now add a 19" rack to the base of the unit or have extra room for bag/gear storage with the new closed design on the front.
The EDGE L retails for $1,999 ( cases not included). SKB cases are an additional $749 for the set.

I like the look of the 2-pillar original a bit better, but I'd be happier with the new Edge. Gotta have room to hide the most important items - drinks and snacks! (and ready to grab gear spares for the 2-is-1, 1-is-none backup policy I try to abide by).

Love this Rachel! Is the XL Edge case a different style of SKB case? Is it the metal box one versus the plastic? Just curious what that would look like (fitting in my vehicle), and I have the DenonMCX8000 and would use and external mixer.... thanks!!

It would be a custom case not the SKB. The case dimensions are 60x24x10 (approx).

How would you allow for cordless mics and antennas to be placed in the stand for proper reception. Also how would you place a light controller accessible as well. I like the carrying cases, and the stand. Great work!!!

The XL can fit any size controller or turn tables. The XLR’s drop down from the top.

You can use the XL of any booth to fit a prime 4.

The manufacturer doesn’t do sales or coupon codes. They offer the same price/best price to everyone all the time. 🙂 If you buy a booth at a trade show they usually do offer free shipping or no tax. That’s the advantage. Thanks for checking this out. ☺️

You tell them what you have and they cut a custom top plate for your controller.

Hi! I have a DDJ-1000SRT and a pair of PLX-1000 with S7 mixer. My question is, would I be able to interchange either of my gear while using one booth? Probably the Infinity XL for both of my set ups? Thank you for your time in advance!

You’d need different top plates but yes you can change gear out with the rail system. You’d need a XL more than likely.

Another good vid. I love the ape light mini intigration. I'm just not feeling these stands. Anything with more then two or three pieces can mean something could get lost or damaged in transit. Of course the skb case could help but that's a separate purchase, right? What If you don't aline the side and front slots perfectly will it just look crooked or will it be wobbly and fail if top is heavy? You have probably already answered these issues in future vids. Right?

Not sure if you had a chance to check out this video: Infinity DJ Console Review kzbin.info/www/bejne/d57Po6GZhcSnmM0 , but this gives an in-depth look at the special material these booths are made out of. Both styles are extremely strong and durable, as well as very stable. You’ll see that I do push-ups on it. 🙂 Everything packs away in two nice SKB cases. No tools needed to assemble. All gear lives inside the top. You’re no more likely to forget this than using a table and facade. In fact probably even less likely because of the $1,000+ DJ gear left pre-wired in the booth. 😉 These consoles aren’t for everyone and that’s ok. There are many great options out there to choose from. It’s important to use something that compliments your work flow and style. I absolutely love mine. Thanks for stopping by the channel.

No. It breaks down into 3 sections. Top, rack, and base plate.

They are just sitting on top. The JMAZ hardware isn’t compatible with the totems.

I think it’s great to have different options available! There are many cool styles out there for the community to check out. 💯❤️ Each company has their own unique look and features. If we all owned the same stuff our industry would be pretty boring. 😉 I applaud anyone bringing something to the table for DJs. This is one choice out of many.
