That funky funding tune was used for a WHILE!! Didn't think THIS would be the tune that would survive into the '90s lol but it very well did... Great comp! 😁
@someguy234753 жыл бұрын
That was about when I stopped watching- I was born in 1984 and remember the chimes well. I never saw the 1992 outro until years later, with my younger cousin. I still think of the original theme and outro music instead of however it’s arranged now.
@MochaMoonpie3 жыл бұрын
@@someguy23475 that was probably the one I remember the best - the outro sequence from the '90s. But then again, I'd be at the right spot for it, being born in 1991 and that was playing throughout my early childhood. I have a much younger brother (born 1999) who I began watching with, and he stopped watching it around the mid/late-2000s. I was one of those childlike adults who didn't want to grow up, so I didn't really stop watching haha... I'd catch it periodically back when we had the sprout channel, and later on when our PBS affiliate started their own 24-hour PBS kids channel, but then I finally moved on from watching kids shows in general probably last year or the year before... I was a nut lol... I still am, but it depends on the day and the context 😁 I know, they have changed arrangements several times since the '90s though haha... Kinda makes ya head spin lol. 😁 I'm glad youtube exists so I could look at what I missed just by being born later haha. This video took me on a trip lol... Anyway, I really appreciate your reply!! ☺️

At 25:30, you see a nighttime episode with a closing credit sequence with a lullaby variant of the Sesame Street theme. I think that variant of the theme for nighttime (usually if not only or always on Friday) episodes got replaced by the alternate sequence with shots around the city at night in 1987 (around when Unitel Video started taping the show).
