Sesame Street - The Good Birds Club (2011)

Big Bird (Caroll Spinney) is delighted to get an invitation for The Good Birds Club, but a bully pigeon makes fun of him and ridicules his looks. In 2007, after seeing a male Grade 9 student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school, Grade 12 students David Shepherd and Travis Price in Berwick, Nova Scotia, bought and distributed 50 pink shirts for other students to wear the next day. Through an email campaign to their classmates, the word spread, and a "sea of pink" of hundreds of students showed up in their own pink clothes. The bullies were never heard from again.
The song Big Bird sings is "Happy to Be Me", written by Chris Jackson and Joey Mazzarino.
The birds are: Pigeon (Tyler Bunch), Robin (Stephanie D'Abruzzo), and Blue Jay (Matt Vogel).
