During acl configuration you have mapped user IDs on NFS share by adding option all-squash. My question is that same user must be presented on both server and client machine to map IDs than user will be able to access share on the server.

Hey Sir, Hope you are doing good. Was revising through your content yet again as these are so resourceful and fun to revise quickly on important sections of Linux Administration and Server Management. I really miss the interactive live sessions from the past days. What would you suggest as a next step in Linux post learning RHCSA, RHCE, Linux Application and Server Management? Also, when are you going to resume Red Hat certification courses again live on KZbin? I am sure a lot of us are waiting for your live interactive sessions on Linux concepts.

Mounting the NFS Share Make sure that the NFS Client is installed. Open a Powershell command prompt. Run the appropriate command for your situation: Server OS: Install-WindowsFeature NFS-Client Desktop OS: Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -FeatureName ServicesForNFS-ClientOnly, ClientForNFS-Infrastructure -Online -NoRestart Mount the share using the following command, after making the required modifications: mount -o anon nfs.share.server.name:/share-name X: Replace nfs.share.server.name with the name of the server the NFS share is on (eg. files.umn.edu) Replace share-name with the name of the NFS share (eg. OIT-Test) Replace X: with the desired drive letter.
