In autumn 2021, Centre for Future Work Director Jim Stanford taught a 10-session online popular economics course through the Later Life Learning consortium at Innis College at the University of Toronto. The course covered all the building blocks of Canada’s economy: including employment, wages, investment, competition, the environment, government, finance, globalization, and economic cycles. Below are recordings of the 10 lectures, posted with permission of Later Life Learning. For additional resources from the course (including presentation slides and supplementary readings) please visit centreforfutur.... The course used Jim’s book, Economics for Everyone: A Short Guide to the Economics of Capitalism, as a core resource; find out more about that book at economicsforev....
