How can cities be redesigned to support regenerative living practices? 🌆
Join Toney Hallahan, Director at Habitacity and Associate Director at Western Sydney Planning Partnership, and Shermon O. Cruz, UNESCO Chair on Anticipatory Governance and Regenerative Cities at Northwestern University, Philippines, as they explore innovative ideas and solutions for building regenerative cities.
What is regenerative living in cities? 🌿 It goes beyond sustainability. Regenerative living focuses on designing cities that actively restore ecosystems, enhance biodiversity, and foster harmony between people and nature. By rethinking how cities manage resources, energy, and waste, regenerative urban planning encourages circular economies, green infrastructure, and social inclusivity, creating a thriving environment for future generations.
This event is organized by the UNESCO Chair on Anticipatory Governance and Regenerative Cities in collaboration with the Global South Futures Community.
