To say “God CANNOT protect us from everything “ is almost blasphemous in my opinion. God is omnipotent so He can protect us from Everything if He chooses. What the book of Job shows us is that at times God chooses to let us fall prey to Satan’s wicked plans . God ALWAYS acts from a place of love so even if so called “ bad” things happen , in God’s great plan they are ultimately for good.
