They have drum packs. Do you know how they are implemented? Drums alone?

I bought this App and I like it. I agree with you about its limitations but I am sure in future updates it will be better. However I have one problem. I bought all the sounds in one package. However I don't like some of them and they took up a lot of space on my iPad 2. I am planning to get a new iPad in the coming months. Will I have to buy the App again and this time only buy individual packages. I don't want to have three gigs allocated to one App on any iPad.

Thanks for this tutorial! I just bought all 3 volumes for sessionband Jazz. It still needs work: there are NO slash chords available, the endless looping needs to be addressed, also they should have a general interface for all the volumes inside it so you can have a masterllist of songs, the biggest drawback for me is there needs to be a users group where we all can talk about features, bugs, and share files. Also, it won't work with iReal Pro, which is a big drawback for using this app for gigs.

Looks very useful for writing on the go. However, I think most people would have a problem with the vast space requirements! Especially, if - like the reviewer - you just want to use it as a sketch pad for demos. I would stick with Chordbot.

You don't have to buy it again if your getting it for a new iPad. It will be in your apple account so you can download it again. Version 2 is coming soon.

Hi Greg, I’m wondering if you can bounce a backing track from SessionBand to say GarageBand record a live track over it. Edit and put it on CD?

+1 on that ;) I’m not sure which version, but I read something on their website about drag and dropping the SessionBand loops into Garageband tracks? What I mean is that they don’t make it clear whether they are talking about Mac OS or iOS...

I like chordbot as well. SessionBand give a better production

Not that great for songwriters, no audio in for that instant vocal idea....
