The quality of these tutorials (part 1 & 2) cannot be overstated. Deeply appreciated. What a pity for the rest of the world though that there is no English soundtrack. The automatic translation from KZbin is rather poor. Do I understand the tips at the end of part 2 against "common mistakes" correctly: 1. Do not initiate the turn too early. 2. Do not excessively turn the upper body, but initiate the turn with the arms. The right arm (when turning to the left) is lifted halfway up, the body follows. ? I am able to do the 180 stall, but my feet lift off at the same time. At least it feels like they do. I can only do it if I jump a bit or lift my knees. The good skaters, like here, roll with the front foot over the coping (you can actually hear it) and then turn later over the front wheel of the trailing foot. I find that very difficult. Does anyone have a tip on how I can make the switch?
