This song is a plea from the heart to God the Father, Jesus the Son, and to the Holy Spirit to reignite the fire and passion we once had for Him. This song was inspired after I laid hands on a woman in prayer and was overcome with a feeling of fear and desperation. The Lord gave me a vision of one small ember still burning as I was praying and she feared that ember would soon burn out. Her heart longed for the fire she once had.

Yes, thank you, Jesus! He gets all the glory 🙌🏻 Thank you so much for all of your encouragement today. Thank you for allowing God to utilize you to bless me and pick me up. I’ve been facing many enemy attacks lately and I’m so thankful for the reminder that God is tending to my heart and soul.

Amen 🙌🏻 God inspired me to write this song after I laid hands on a woman to pray for her and felt fear and desperation. I had a vision of one small glowing ember with evidence of what had been a raging fire. She had been through a lot of stuff and her faith had been shaken. Her fire and passion for God was slowly dying and she desperately wanted it back. God poured this song out and I shared it at the next service I could and she was there. I never told her specifically that the song was for her or what God had showed me, as He simply showed me simply to encourage her and to intercede for her. I pray that the song touched her heart and she received that fire - that passion back - for God. It wasn’t at my home church, so I’m not sure how she’s doing today, but I think of her often.
