This is a video response to a request to see the "Overload" play against a 2-3 zone defense. Execution and timing is better in the first clip shown in the video.
The defense we are playing against is running a 2-3 zone. This play isn't designed to be run as a continuous offense every time down the court. It should be used sparingly throughout the game, or until the defense catches on and makes an adjustment.
You'll be able to see from this live video that we were successful in isolating the bottom defender and getting an open 15 foot shot. There are other options the you can execute with this play that involves higher percentage shots like drives to the basket.

I put the overload set in last year for my 7-8th grade girls. We never quite made it to the entry pass from the wing that ran the baseline but she had a good shot and made it several times so I was comfortable with that. I can cut up video clips of it if you would like to see them.

If you look closer at 0:32, you can see that this guard can pass the ball to that center who is open then lead to the easy layup which is easier than running the whole thing. But still a great video tho

Great play.but you have to make sure that you got bigs in your team that can shoot the perimeter like the one here in this video.
