Thanks for your video .. great content. My First Msc cruise in August 2021 on Meraviglia was amazing overall no complaints. Went on Divina in March 2022 - loved the design and decor of the ship but did not have a great experience on board. Food was horrible and customer service was not great. Took forever to get back refunds. However I am going to try MSC again. ⚓ Msc Seascape here I come !

How do you become a diamond member. Is it base on how many cruises you’ve been on a year?

For MSC, we did the status match. And they have a points base system. You earn points for certain cruise length and based on the experience (Bella, Fantastica, aurea, or yacht club) and they also give points for the type of cruise. Plus the give points for purchases made onboard like in the shops and the spa. So after doing the status match we skipped straight to gold, and booked most everything with terry as the primary so he got the bulk of the points first. That is why he’s diamond and I’m not, but i am close. 🤞🏽

Thanks for this video.We will be on this cruise in January 2023. We were on the Divina's 2nd Cruise in 2010. Wonder why only 1400 passengers or less than 1/2 capacity as all cruise lines are now @ full capacity. I wonder if all the bad Utube reviews especially about the food are keeping people away? We have been on 2 MSC cruises in the last 10 years. Love the ships but MSC has some weird rules & the corporate communication & website is abysmal. You get to ride in a Ferrari but the experience is in some ways a disappointment. European menu doesn't appeal to all Americans. Only soft vanilla or Chocolate Ice cream is free & Gelato is extra? The Italians still have a lot to learn about how to treat North Americans. I'm from Canada & they really don't listen to their customers. I did a Written survey direct to MSC @ the end of each cruise & got NO response. Price is right but you could also say you get what you pay for.

Some of this is true…their website is trash but customer service has improved. You still have to pay for the good gelato but they have drastically changed the menu to appease the palettes of non-European travelers. We think that they have come a LONG way since they first appeared to the US market and can only improve more. 🙌🏽
