ETA: I stand by everything I wrote below, but decided my problem must have been that I was trying to do it over Wifi. So I took a 60 foot ethernet cable and plugged the T778 into my modem and used another PC that was also hardwired to run the Windows version of this software. It worked. Also, fwiw, the Windows version of the software does allow you to move to calibration even with just one measurement, though I did all nine measurements. Here's my beef now, NAD: with Dirac turned on, I cannot adjust the L/R balance on the front speakers at all? Spent hours with this last night trying to get my brand new NAD T778 AVR to run through the Dirac process. So MANY ERRORS! It was incredibly aggravating. Why do you make us do nine tests? Couldn't I at least ask for a filter based on two measurements only? I was watching the graphs when the sounds were playing. At some point the graph would flatten out as if it could not hear the (very loud) glide tone. As soon as I saw that gap, I knew it would be an error and have to start over again. Sometimes it said "internal error", and other times it said it was missing information. I tried different devices (phone, tablet, Windows PC), and I was careful to turn off wifi on any device I was not using to be sure there were not too many things trying to talk to the NAD at the same time. The Windows PC program was much more detailed, and it kept giving errors that it was not getting the correct gain response from the NAD. I am going to pay my stereo store to come to my house and do the DIRAC. If it's a bad NAD, they can take it back.

Since the T758v3 doesnt have an Ethernet cable connection, explain first how to connect to the WiFi network. It’s doesn’t do that easily at all!!!

I’ve spent the whole video trying to figure out exactly what her accent is. Her English is probably better then mine and I’m an Anglophone. It’s impossible to put a country of origin on her accent it’s sounds like a mix of every English speaking country + some.

How can I adjust the actual speaker levels? Dirac Live set my Subwoofer at -5 on my NAD T758 v3, which is so low of an output, the Subwoofer won't even wake up from a sleep state. It also set my Left-Rear Surround to an inaudible level. I am not wanting to change the suggested EQ curve. I am wanting to actually change the speaker output volume level. When a Dirac Level is applied to the NAD AVR, I can no longer manually adjust a speaker volume.

I think you can adjust the surrounds on the remote control (bottom left). You can also adjust the center and the subs with the next two buttons. When I tested that today (just center), it did allow me to increase the center channel even though a Dirac profile was loaded. What bugs me is I can't change the Front Left and Front Right levels at all, which I want to do when listening to 2 channel music WITH room correction.

i bought my t777 v3 last month and i am satisfied with it,i ran Dirac live and loaded it on my receiver,since then whenever i turn off my receiver and turn on i need to go to menu and load my Dirac live in my DSP option,it doesnt stays there or there is nothing in the menu to say SAVE this,so basically each time i have to go to menu and load my Dirac live profile,it says speaker configurations changed ,i have to go change my speaker configurations as well,i am using my surround stand speakers and one center,nothing more but after i turn it off again the configurations change and adds rear surround speakers and Subwoofer... can someone plz help me with that?!

You need to load your DSP, and other settings, and SAVE it to an A/V Preset. This was driving me nuts as well when I first bought my NAD AVR, then I figured it out. The manual recommended leaving Default Preset on an input to OFF, which was frustrating. Now I have a 5.1 Preset that I assign to my HDMI ARC input that loads by default when I turn on my TV.

Lisa, can the upgraded version for $99 Dirac Live when using the NAD T778 work with measuring 2 subwoofers separately?... I am looking at buying the T778 and cannot get an answer anywhere about this before I buy and just need to make sure before I invest in this system.

I keep getting low noise signal errors when I use this software. This app has gotten horrible reviews it's also very bad to use and hasn't been updated for multiple years. I hear lots of people have low signal noise errors. Very disappointed in the app

Once all this is done, will you then have a selection, "key" or a "button" on the Bluos user interface ? My issue is : Can one flick the Dirac filter in and out for A/B comparison ?
