Yes, that is fine. Just like humans, they can decide what they like and don't like. As long as their main food is nutritionally balanced, the sprays are a bonus.

I love your enthusiasm for your hamsters! 🐹 My name is Sofie I’m 15 and I own a Syrian hamster I love him so much and I want to give him more. I’ve been watching your videos and Victoria Raechels videos and I completely understand that hamsters NEED very large enclosures, my only problem is that my parents aren’t very enthusiastic about me getting a paw hut cage. Nate is my hamster, he currently lives in a 50 gallon bin cage and I’ve added as much as I can to meet his needs from a 12inch wheel to 14 inches of bedding I just need the larger cage part. I’ve been trying REALLY HARD to twist my dads arm and talk him into me getting my hamster a paw hut but he isn’t really interested in it. Do you have any tips? How did you talk your parents into letting you get a larger more suitable cage for your hamsters? Also, where do you get your sprays from? Please get back to me! It’s urgent!

Hi! Maybe see if there's a pawhut / 75 gallon tank for cheaper on Facebook marketplace? I get my sprays from Koernerbude. Getzoo and niteangel are also good options☺️

@@TheHamsterRoom thanks for getting back to me. The price of a cage is not the issue unfortunately. The problem is that my dad doesn’t want to have a huge hamster cage in my room because he feels that there’s no need to have a large cage for a tiny animal. I’ve told him many different stories about how hamsters thrive much more once they’re in a large enclosure that suits them best but unfortunately I can’t seem to get him to grasp the fact that hamsters deserve large enclosures with everything that they need in their life.🐹🥹
