I'd love to try the lattice training! Good video. Tom and Ollie show the patience and resourcefulness all good coaches have. Looking forward to the next session.

Met Richie briefly last fall in Asturia. Just talked to him for a couple of minutes since we had rent a house of his up there, but he seemed super relaxed. Awesome spots up there in Asturia as well!

At 5:59... did Richie get lost in The Foundry car park while Ollie was at The Works? :/

Richie is super lucky to have such insightful coaches. Most of us jokers have to figure it all out for ourselves. Randall kind of sounds like a bit of a jerk for being so negative but I believe he is just being realistic relative to the data he is seeing. How much real time has elapsed between the last episode and this one? Can’t wait for the next installment!

Following. I truly hope you succeed in this but I personally think 7B+ to 8B+ in a year is close to impossible for mortals like most of us.

Starting with a 7a/V6 bouldering level? So he's got to get from V6 to a good V9 in a year? yeah for a 16 years old with crazy genetics that's possible. I highly doubt it is possible in this case but it would an insane achievement.

not bouldering, normal route climbing! Thats the reason he trains his endurance

i`ve been climbing for only 4 months and i did my first v9 recently. It´s hard but not impossible, you just have to be passionate enough. Don't let anything that's only in your head stop you.

Calling right now that it was a soft gym grade
@vincentniemetz56686 жыл бұрын
@Henry __ Its a slab (my upper body is still weak af) and i have seen very good climbers fall on it so im pretty sure it isn't easy. I'm still new so i don´t really have a lot to compare to, and my gym has a colour system, so i took the lowest grade listed as being in that colour range. Maybe it's a grade lower, but as i said i saw very good people not even being able to match the starting hold and stick the first move.

You know sometimes the route setter calls it a v8 and it is a v5 in reality. Had the samething was able to do a route in the highest grade in the gym and was like yeah I finally reached it and then I discovered that all of the other routes in that grad were like 200% harder and I was like oh...
