SETEC AUTOMATIC GLAZING PLANT WITH TWO S6 TYPE GLAZING ROBOTS FOR WATER CLOSETS

This automatic plant is studied and realized by SETEC in order to increase at the maximum level the quality and automation of the glazing operations in the sanitary ware production.
Two "upward" trap glazing machines automatically fill the WC of liquid glaze covering 100% of internal surface of ceramic including rim and siphon, in order to obtain best quality and reduce glazing robot working time.
The plant is equipped with a 3-axis rotating forks type automatic manipulator for transferring the WC and other articles from the four arms carousel of the first 6 axis robot (application of the first layer of glaze) to the four arms carousel of the second 6 axis robot (application of the second layer of glaze) for carrying out the external glazing with minimum waste of glaze and finest quality also thanks to the special glazing booth included in the plant.
Turntables of the carousel are than automatically cleaned by a washing station.
