It's actually not up to Seth on figuring out the union contract. He's a union member himself (I believe both WGA and SAG) The negotiations are up to the AMPTP (essentially the studios and networks). Hopefully they come to the table soon, because the writers' compensation and protection from AI needs to be established the way they already did for the directors a couple weeks ago. Union strong!

@@dukeofthedance8062 Literally those youtubers doing their own writing, editing, acting, etc while simultaneously not getting any sort of sick leave, medical insurance, paid vacation time or even hourly pay from KZbin is exactly the reason why unions (and writers) are so great. KZbinrs, Tiktokers and any online entertainment folks (myself included) do labor that is mostly unpaid unless they're able to get sponsorships or Patreon supporters. I'm glad that at least in my day job I get union benefits. Also, a good deal of KZbinrs actually *do* have writers, editors, sound designers, and even producers that they pay. It's a lot of labor, and not just anyone can do it all on their own without having, for example, a good amount of money already or being willing to live at the mercy of a nonsensical corporate algorithm. You seem to have the mentality that people in shitty circumstances deserve to be in that position. I'm assuming that's to some degree a result of being surrounded by people with addictions your whole life in a country that does very little to help either the addicted or their relatives who need protection. A country that has also told us for years that being poor or a drunk or a junkie or unemployed or homeless is the fault of the people in those situations rather than the systems that create barriers to being able to get better or get safe. Sadly it doesn't seem that being teetotal has done anything to boost your empathy neither for yourself nor others. Personally I hope both that the writers get the career protections, better hours, and better pay that they deserve. I hope someday that there's whole unions for KZbin and Tiktok creators! Everyone should be able to live without having to be afraid of starving or of going broke because of a doctor's visit or of being replaced by a robot.

They perform on SNL, not “his show”, in November of 2013. The youngest of the 3 is Alana, being 21 nearly 22 at the time of their performance. NO ONE WAS A MINOR. Seth explained in the interview that the girls, having just played their first song, were getting ready to do the next. *THEY* ASKED *HIM* IF HE HAD ANYTHING TO DRINK because *THEY* felt stressed during the first performance. He even made note in the interview that he would never just walk up to their dressing room with a bottle to drink. Also want to note that he was 39 at the time. I don’t know Seth personally but making a conclusion that he’s an alcoholic based off 10+ minute drinking segments that he does *TWICE A YEAR* is a reach. You don’t know him either. You can just say you dislike him. It’d be simpler and less of you wasting your breath, which would benefit us all :-)
