I do love his music; be interested in what the sound is like for a gig at the Miniack - I saw a play there once and half way up the seating I couldn't hear the actors over the sound of the sea
@hazelhalliday29748 жыл бұрын
Really surprised at that. The Minack's sound system is tailored to avoid exactly that problem. There are microphones along the front of the stage that should pick up the actors' voices. Only reason that they might not do that successfully is if the actors were turned away from the front.

Thanks for the reply Hazel. To be honest I think it was just a poorly rehearsed AmDram group putting on the play, rather than a professional troupe
@hazelhalliday29748 жыл бұрын
I think very few (if any) of the groups who perform plays at the Minack are professional. I've just been there for a week with The Hertfordshire Players and it is an absolutely amazing place to perform. Sounds like you were unlucky.

This song is just a poor representation of the original by Carson Robinson. Even with the audio quality of today this guy doesn’t even come close to the soul this song deserves😒 just my opinion

Good musician though

Hey, I love Seth Lakeman...first heard him on Midsomer Murders, years back. I don't know the other version so I have no opinion in that respect. The thing is, we are all entitled to our own views and opinions, That's what makes us human beings. At least you haven't been subjected to abusive replies as I have quite often on KZbin. I never understand why people have to be insulting on internet media sites. You have your view and I respect that.

@@benjaminwright417 this song was written in the 1930 by an America country singer. All you have to do is look and you will find the original song. It’s funny what people will say when they think they’re right😂 not a troll, I speak the truth.
