So stupid how everyone talks down on Tommy. Tommy got to where he is by pursuing a dream and laying all the chips on the table; doing it all himself. Like Seth said: directing, producing, starring, and funding. When I would be willing to bet 90% of well-known actors out there today got to where they are because they just happened to know somebody. If there's any actor I would want to model my personal character after, it would be Tommy hands down.

Because it's so bad, it's hilarious! He was just telling the truth. When he said "he's a weird dude." I don't think he was being malicious at all. He literally said Tommy remembered him instantly. I think Seth was being very nice, but also stating the truth, which is that The Room is only famous because it's a terrible film 😂 and that Tommy is a weird dude.

There is no such thing as a “bad” movie that is so bad it’s good... if people watch a movie... enjoy that movie... and it gives them a strong reaction... then it’s a good movie... Film is subjective and millions of people (including him by his own admission) not only watch the film but keep coming back to it... By definition this film is great.
@razorbeard6970 Жыл бұрын
No, absolutely not. The movie is bad and people simply enjoy it for being bad in the exact form it was finished in. The fact people are entertained by that quality does not alleviate the fact of how poorly written, acted, produced, and even marketed it has been. The success was not a foregone conclusion but, a last ditch about-face from the original intention that actually paid off. The movie is terrible and still entertaining.
